If you would like to help Civic Week more why not register your interest in becoming a committee member.
Unfortunately, the Timed Hill Trials that were going to take place on Wednesday from Narberth Bridge, are now not going ahead.
Pram Push and Ping pong race will be taking place as normal.
Look forward to the debut of the time trials in 2015.
There was a great turn out at the 2014 parade and lunch. Both Mayors from Fishguard, Tenby, and Pembroke along with the High sheriff of Dyfed were amongst guests from Pembrokeshire County Council, local groups and organisations, Dyfed Powys Police NPT and much more. There was also the 2014 Civic Week Carnival Queen in attendance.
The lunch was held this year at Narberth Rugby Club and both the Mayor, Clr Sue Rees, and Narberth Civic Week would like to thank Anne and everyone at the Rugby Club for a great lunch and wonderful food.
Once the food had been polished off and the socialising had taken place, formalities began with the toast master, Clr David Norcross thanking everyone for attending. From here, Mayor, Clr Sue Rees thanked all of the guests and officials and went on to present awards to Mrs Edna Davies for Special achievement in Narberth with her work at Narberth CP School.
Amongst other tokens of appreciation, were those given to Narberth Civic Week president, Mr Wyn Calvin MBE and officials from Pembrokeshire County Council.
A great lunch was had by all and this kicked Civic Week 2014 off in style.
